he probably has a d2c
may i make some suggestions?
1rst choice, buy him a d2ckey if you are so sure he has a d2c wii. Plus it needs no updates that you need to worry about.
2nd choice, get a refund on the one you bought, and buy it from GMODZ, they make sure that all of them are up to 2.1 firmware and spi 1.5 so it is guarenteed it will work on your d2c. It is the one presoldered to a wii-clip.
