I don't think the new solution will be much more expensive than the usual chips....
1 solution being tested is the upgraded d2pro9
a lot of places around are charging around $100 Installed for replacement board or complete drive......
1 part is useless without the other part
.. they cost about $80 when purchased in bulk
all this hoopla hopefully will be over in a week or so anyways
