I ran into this when i ordered this weekend and ordered the programmer just so i can do one stupid update to give me DVD update ability. $25 down the drain really. But hey...think of what you gain from doing this .
you will be happy that you already have the programmer....
the dvd update...can only change certain parts......all major updates still has to use the programmer.
