Hi, I'm new to the whole Wii modchip scene and I would like to know a bit more about your experience with your buy, ajayuk.
I went to the D2Pro manufacturer's website ([Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register]) and they didn't mention anything about a WiiClip, so is this even endorsed by the D2Pro makers? I need a modchip but I'm afraid I have no soldering experience whatsoever, so this Wiiclip combo sounds interesting. I looked it up and apparently it is not only the easiest Wii modchip to install to date but also the most efficient in terms of compatibility with the Wii's motherboard chipset.

I bought a Wii in NYC April 20th of this year and have no idea which chipset my Wii has, and I'm afraid of opening it up and losing warranty to find out I know that installing the modchip will automatically void warranty but at least by then I will have been well informed.
Do you suggest this chip for me and if so where would I buy the D2Pro + Wiiclip combo? Also, how's soldering, do you think anyone can do it or you have to be an engineer?
